The 12th edition of the Christmas Tree Festival organized by Save the Children took place. The 27 Christmas trees were auctioned to raise funds in the benefit of disadvantaged children in Romania.
It was also the event that marked the beginning of the classy Christmas parties this year. All guests (including hosts Andi Moisescu and Andreea Raicu) had some of the most elegant and trendiest looks, quite fit for a Christmas parties. The colors, accessories, dresses and hairstyles these celebrities wore to the Christmas Tree Festival are definitely a great place to start looking for perfect Christmas party attire.
Red dresses were clearly the night’s highlight, particularly the one Olivia Steer wore (the top was white and in a lovely contrast to the red voluminous skirt). Andreea Raicu also decided her dress it’s going to be red, but opted for a lady-like red dress with red floral embroidery. Irina Florea (Pernord Ricard) also donned a red dress, but with a different spin: the sleeves were oversized and the crystal belt made the overall attire more “Christmassy”.
Irina Wagner and Diana Sucu opted for one shoulder dresses, with chic accents designed to highlight the waist. The burgundy color of Irina Wagner’s dress and the golden accessories and jewelry match perfectly. If you’re looking for a chic and elegant look for a Christmas party, burgundy and gold jewelry (or golden shoes) is the way to go.
Although the sequin dress works best for a New Year’s Eve party, you can still wear sparkle for Christmas, at club bashes or a glamorous party. Amalia Nastase donned a silver sequin dress, without straps and with a slit above the knee. Madalina Dorobantu also donned a sequin dress, but decided to keep it more formal, choosing a dark color.
Lace can be just as glamorous as sequins, yet it is fittest for a formal Christmas party.
If you’re looking for a glamorous look, then instead of sequins you can don a lycra evening dress.
